I might be the first blogger to say this, but I think Nicki Minaj is the greatest female rapper evaaaar! I’ve been a fan of hers since her battle-rap days leading up to transitioning into mainstream hip-hop. She even got a nod on my “Top 10 Hawt Chicks I’d Like to Bang” blog. (http://khalilamani.ning.com/profiles/blogs/top-10-chicks-i-d-bang-i…) (What an honor for her!) And this new, more au naturale look is beautiful! I think it’s time for her to lose the clown get-ups. Gosh darn does Nicki look 100% better like this? Hell yeah!

Having said that…

The hell was she thinking putting our dear brother Malcolm X—El Hajj Malik el Shabazz—our shining Black Prince on the cover of her new single, “Lookin’ Ass Niggas?” Are there any sacred cows in hip-hop? This ranks right up there with Nas & Kanye’s portrayal of Jesus on Rolling Stone & Nas’ “Hate Me Now” video. Epic fail! Faux pas! (Misstep) Pure f**kery and disrespect on an unfathomable level!

Yes! I read Nicki’s apology to Malcolm’s family and I read what she had to say about the picture and I’m glad she’s removed the imagery, but the damage is already done! Malcolm X belonged to a nation of black people who were either in the black liberation struggle or have read about his life. Nicki offended many.

Don’t get a brotha wrong! I understand the whole artistic thingy—you know, interpret the art, push the envelope, but hot dayum! This is either one coonerific idea she wants us to buy into or she’s putting Malcolm in the category with the Negroes she’s rapping about.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence or maybe she’s heard about the Loaded Lux vs. Hollow Da Don rap battle a few weeks ago, where Loaded Lux & Company came on stage dressed like Black Panthers, while holding that SAME picture of Malcolm staring out the window. But, unlike Darling Nicki, Lux actually incorporated the idea of uplifting the Black Nation in his raps.

But dissing niggas with a Malcolm picture?

I listened to the song and never heard a Malcolm X reference. This song is a new-jack “Scrubs” anthem—a dissing of the average Joe—the blue collar working man who has nowhere near the money she has, but likes to go clubbing and chips in for bottle & V.I.P. service to feel special on the weekend. (Since when can’t niggas share a bottle? We share blunts!) Even the brothas who are “ballin’ on a budget” (Star’s words)—flo’ showin’, fakin’-it-till-you-makin’-it, slangin’ grams instead of bricks—she threw a blanket over erry conceivable kinda dude in the club! And then she did the improbable! Diss the rich nigga who flew her to Dubai! (All I know is that if I ever get in position to fly Nicki or the local hoodrat to Dubai—she’s giving up ass on top of ass!)

It never occurs to Nicki that the Average Joes & Average Booqueeshas Barbies put their pennies together to make her rich. She don’ sat her phat-ass on the toilet-seat of party-going masculinity and took a big-ol’ doo-doo on us! (I haven’t forgotten our brother Malcolm! Just hold on!)

So here it is—Black History Month. Is “Lookin’ Ass Niggas” Nicki’s way of exposing young impressionable Barbies & Kens to Malcolm X? Indeed, Malcolm was “watchin’ for ni***s asses” (pause) who had turned against him because of what he had spoken about the Honorable Elijah Muhammad (fathering children by teenage chicks). Malcolm wasn’t in a speakeasy or afterhours joint poppin’ bottles. He had done that many years prior to joining the Nation of Islam. Malcolm was about that liberation life—having to watch his back from agent provocateurs, Hoover’s FBI Counter Intelligence Program (Cointelpro.) and Nation of Islam shooters that wanted his head.

In the context of watchin’ these “lookin’ ass niggas” so that they don’t harm you, I get that Nicki, but the imagery just doesn’t sit well with what you’re rapping about. Malcolm was really watching these “lookin’ ass n***as” to save his life! In contrast, Nicki is just clowin’ “lookin’ ass n***as” for admiring her steez/swag. She ain’t in fear of her life and that’s what makes the imagery so disturbing and blasphemous.

And this is how one of the “bestest” names in the game chooses to pay homage to a Towering Giant in Black History Month? Smh.

Dare I say, if Malcolm X were here today he’d be one jaded motherfucker (like Bill Cosby) behind hip-hop’s fuckery? He might even flip his famous phrase, “The Chickens have come home to roost” (referring to America’s violence against countries now being perpetuated by Americans on Americans) to “The Chicken-head has come home to roost!” (A diss to Nicki) Couldja really blame him? I’m jus’ sayin’… (I still love you Nicki and that was great of you to acknowledge your error! Movin’ on…)

Tangu TFF kusema inatafuta kocha mpya atakayerithi mikoba ya Mdenmark, Kim Poulsen, mtandao huu umekuwa ikifuatilia kwa undani mwalimu mpya wa Stars atakuwa nani na sasa inaibuka na jibu ni Mart Nooij.

Tayari Nooij ambaye kwa sasa ni kocha wa St George ya Ethiopia amekwishasaini Mkataba wa miaka miwili na TFF na atakuja nchini mwishoni mwa mwezi huu.

Nooij amekua mwalimu wa maendelo katika taasisi ya Mpira ya Royal Dutch. Huku akiwa amefanya kazi EVC mwaka 1913 nchini Marekani na Kazakhstan. Pia alishawai kuwa kocha wa timu ya mpira ya Burkina Faso chini ya miaka 20 wakati timu hio ilipokua inashiriki Mashindano ya Vijana mwaka 2003. Huku mwaka 2004 alichaguliwa kuwa kocha msaidizi wa muda wa FC Volendam.

Benki ya Dunia yaisimamishia Uganda msaada

Benki ya dunia imesitisha mkopo wa dola milioni 90 kwa Uganda wa kuimarisha sekta ya afya kufuatia kupitishwa kwa sheria inayoharamisha ushoga na kutoa adhabu kali kwa watakaopatikana na hatia

Hatua hiyo ya benki ya dunia haikutarajiwa na wengi kwani taasisi hiyo mara nyingi hujiepusha kuingilia masuala ya ndani ya kisiasa ya nchi wanachama au kuhusiana na masuala kama haki za mashoga, kuepuka kuzishurutisha nchi wanachame wake 188.
Hata hivyo msemaji wa benki hiyo David Theis amesema katika barua pepe kuwa wamesitisha mradi huo wa kuboresha sekta ya afya ya Uganda hadi watakapoufanyia tathmini na kuhakikisha malengo yake ya maendeleo hayataathiriwa na sheria hiyo mpya ya kuharamisha ushoga.
Rais wa benki hiyo Jim Yong Kim amewatumia wafanyakazi wake barua akisema benki ya dunia inapinga ubaguzi na itawalinda wafanyakazi wake wote na kuongeza kupitishwa kwa sheria hiyo ya Uganda sio nchi ya kwanza kufanya hivyo kwani ushoga umeharamishwa katika nchi 83 na zaidi ya nyingine 100 zinawabagua wanawake.
Mkopo ulikuwa uimarishe sekta ya afya
Licha ya kusimamishwa kwa mkopo huo wa dola milioni 90,benki ya dunia bado ina miradi mingine nchini Uganda ya kiasi cha dola bilioni 1.56. Mkopo huo ulitarajiwa kuidhinishwa hapo jana na ulipaswa kuangazia miradi ya kuboresha afya ya uzazi,afya ya watoto wachanga na uzazi wa mpango
Kutiwa saini kwa sheria hiyo ya kuharamisha ushoga Uganda na Rais Yoweri Museveni mapema wiki hii kumeibua shutuma kali kutoka kwa nchi za magharibi na mashirika ya kutetea haki za binadamu.
Norway,Denmark na Uholanzi zimetangaza kuwa zitasitisha misaada kwa serikali ya Uganda kutokana na sheria hiyo na nchi nyingine wafadhili ikiwemo Marekani pia zimetishia kusitisha misaada na kutafakari upya uhusiano kati yao na Uganda.

Hata hivyo msemaji wa serikali ya Uganda Ofwono Opondo amesema Uganda inaweza kujiendeleza bila ya misaada kutoka nchi za magharibi na kuongeza Uganda haina wasiwasi na hatua hizo kwani ni wakati kwa Afrika kupinga ukoloni, utumwa na ubabe kutoka magharibi.
Mwanaharakati ambaye amekuwa katika mstari wa mbele kuwatetea mashoga nchini Uganda Frank Mugisha alikutana na maafisa wa ngazi ya juu wa wizara ya mambo ya nje ya Marekani mjini Washington hapo jana kuomba usaidizi utakaowalinda mashoga.
Ofisi ya kutetea haki za binadamu ya Umoja wa Mataifa umelaani kuchapishwa kwa majina ya watu wanaodaiwa kuwa mashoga nchini Uganda katika gazeti moja la udaku nchini humo na kuonya hatua hiyo inakiuka haki ya kuwa na faragha na kuonyesha wazi kuwa maisha ya mashoga yamo hatarini.
Kiongozi wa upinzani Uganda Kizza Besigye ameishutumu serikali kwa kutumia suala hilo kuwahadaa raia wa nchi hiyo ili wasiangalie masuala muhimu kama ufisadi au kuwepo kwa jeshi la Uganda Sudan Kusini.

Meek Mill Takes Over Hollywood At Supperclub

The Supreme Team LA had Los Angeles on fire last night with them “Philly Buls” as Meek Mill hosted #SupperclubTuesdays! Meek surely didn’t disappoint and put on a show for all of Hollywood to see. He partied with a few pretty ladies and could be seen snapping selfies while sippin Ciroc and getting “turnt up” with his crew.

Meek offered fans an impromptu 15 min set and thanked the crowd for coming out. He kicked off his medley with “Dreams and NIghtmares” and as the beat dropped, the crowd went bananas. The energy was crazy, so Meek ran through a few hits including, “House Party,” “I’m a Boss,” and “Levels.”

Not only did fans pack the house but a ton of celebs came along to see the show, including: Lashontae Heckard, Teyana Taylor, Christina Milian with fiance Jas Prince, Philadelphia Eagles’ Desean Jackson, Young Berg, Kevin McCall, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson and more. TAIFA STARS KUWEKA KAMBI UHOLANZI

SHIRIKISHO la Soka Tanzania (TFF) limeanza rasmi mikakati ya kuiwezesha timu ya taifa ya Tanzania ‘Taifa Stars’ kufuzu kwa Fainali za mataifa ya Afrika (AFCON) mwakani baada ya kupanga mpango wa timu hiyo kuweka kambi nchini Uholanzi.

Kambi hiyo itakuwa ni maalumu kwa timu hiyo kuweza kujiandaa na hatua ya kufuzu kwa fainali hizo zitakazofanyika mwakani nchini Morocco na kushirikisha jumla ya mataifa 16 yatakayofuzu.

Akizungumza na Waandishi wa Habari leo mjini Dar es Salaam, Rais wa TFF, Jamal Malinzi amesema endapo Stars itafanikiwa kupita katika hatua ya awali ya mchujo ikiwa itapangwa kwenye hatua hiyo, wamepanga kuweka kambi nchini Uholanzi ya timu hiyo, ili kujiandaa na hatua ya pili ya makundi.

Malinzi alisema wameamua kufanya hivyo ili kurudia historia ya mwaka 1980 ya Stars kufuzu kwa mara ya mwisho michuano ya AFCON, iliyofanyika nchini Nigeria, ambapo Stars iliweka kambi Uholanzi mwaka 1979 na kufanikiwa kufuzu kwa fainali hizo.

“Tumepokea barua ya Shirikisho la Soka Afrika (CAF) inayotueleza kuwa mechi zetu za mchujo zitaanza kati ya mwezi Mei hadi Agosti kutokana na kiwango chetu kuwa chini ya nchi 21 bora za bara hili, hivyo muda si mrefu tunafikiria kurekebisha benchi lote la ufundi kwa pamoja na kuanza mikakati ya timu hiyo.

“Huenda timu yetu ikaanzia hatua ya mchujo kama CAF walivyotuandikia, ikifanikiwa kufuzu katika hatua ya makundi ttumepanga kuweka kambi nje ya nchi katika nchi ya Uholanzi, na huko timu itapata mafunzo ya kisasa ili kufanya vizuri kwenye hatua ya makundi,” alisema Malinzi.

Katika hatua nyingine alisema kwa sasa wameshazungumza na Balozi wa Uholanzi hapa nchini kwa ajili ya mipango yao hiyo, pia wamewataarifu wadhamini wakuu wa Stars, Kampuni ya Bia Tanzania (TBL) kupitia kinywaji chao cha Kilimanjaro Premier Lager ili kuandaa bajeti ya ziara hiyo.
